When executive recruiter Marni Hockenberg, principal of Hockenberg Search, launched her new business, she knew that a robust social media strategy would be an important way to reach clients and grow her business. Social Media 1-2-3 provided copywriting for her marketing materials, web site and LinkedIn profile, and we developed her social media toolkit, including the development of her “Hire Learning” blog, Twitter page and Facebook business page. In two weeks’ time, Marni’s social media portfolio has more than doubled its readership.

When Julie Paleen launched her new professional coaching and human resources consulting business, she needed a brand identity that would convey the energy and spirit of her new business and a web site and social media platform that would serve as a main hub for communication to a national and international roster of individual and business clients. Social Media 1-2-3′s creative team created a new brand (logo, business stationery) for Paleen Consulting and developed a new web site and social media platform to give Julie an important online presence for her new business that would allow her to convey the value and expertise she brings to clients, to provide valuable resources to clients, and to raise her visibility among prospective clients.

The Wisconsin State Society, a nonprofit membership organization of expatriate Wisconsinites in Washington, D.C., needed a new Web site that would serve as the primary online anchor for the organization, highlight upcoming events, foster a sense of esprit de corps among its members and interface with the social media tools already being used by the group’s leaders—all within the confines of a nonprofit budget. Social Media 1-2-3 helped the Wisconsin State Society develop a simple web site/blog infrastructure that allows the group to communicate important news and events while keeping the web site’s adminstration easily managable  the organization’s leaders, all of whom are volunteers.
